Where is Senjojiki?

Located in Nagato city in Yamaguchi prefecture at an altitude of 330 meters, Senjojiki is a field of grass where you can observe a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan. The scenery changes every season with lots of different kinds of flowers. It is also a great place to enjoy outdoor sports such as camping and hang gliding. The best part is of course sitting on the bench with some food and drinks facing this amazing view. You can feel the sea breeze while looking out the vast horizon which is definitely the breathtaking view!

How to get there?

The easiest way to get to Senjojiki is by car, or by taxi. Senjojijki is 10 minutes by taxi from JR Nagato Furuichi Station. If you drive, Senjojiki is about an hour and a half from the Ube airport. It is only five kilometers away from Motonosumi Inari Shrine which is famous for its 123 red torii gates. From Tokyo, it is best to fly from Haneda airport to Ube airport which takes about an hour and a half and rent a car at the Ube airport.
