Just one day before the third state of emergency was issued in Tokyo, I was lucky enough to be able to enjoy Afternoon tea in The Lounge in Amon Tokyo Hotel. It was a great break after crazy working hours and extremely busy days.. I could not even remeber when was the last time I had a relaxed moment in a cafe or in a restaurant.

The Lounge by Aman – Aman Tokyo Dining – Aman

We enjoyed “Foliage Green Afternoon Tea” which was inspired by the travels to Aman resorts around the world. “Trunk” was the theme of this special afternoon tea. The afternoon tea set focused on green and sweets with seasonal fruits and savoury accompanied by the Ronnefeldt tea.

It looks they served a lot food but the volume of food and dessert was just right. The desserts were not too sweet so we did not feel too guilty after eating all of them. Also, not in the pictures above but all different kinds of tea they served were very tasty and had good flavor. If you would like to have a good rest in the modern, stylished cafe in the middle of Tokyo, this is definitely a great option for you.
